“I use both oil and acrylic paint, often with the addition of oil pastels and other drawing mediums thrown into the mix. I have always painted, mainly landscapes, often including figures and other elements to help with scale and sense of place.
Strong use of colour and texture have always been a major part of my work. My interests and activities in the fells around my home and further afield are all part and parcel of my work, and I hope this enjoyment comes through in my paintings.”
